How RemitNavigator compares providers

RemitNavigator compares available public provider estimates for transfers from the UAE in AED. The comparison brings the exchange rate, transfer fee, estimated recipient amount and estimated total amount to spend into one view.

Data sources

Provider information is retrieved from public quote, rate or fee services used by the providers’ websites. RemitNavigator does not use private customer accounts to obtain these prices.

Updates and methods

Provider information is requested when a comparison is made. A recently retrieved result for the same corridor and amount may be reused for up to two minutes. The update time shown above the results refers to when RemitNavigator created the comparison response, including a cached response where applicable.

The indicative midpoint reference may be cached for up to one hour. Rates, fees and availability can vary by payment and receiving method. Always confirm the final price and methods with the provider.

Standard and new customer prices

New customer or promotional prices are shown with a label when identified by the source. They may have eligibility rules, limits or expiry dates. Results without a promotional label use the standard price returned by the source. The Yearly Money Transfer Calculator uses standard prices only, so a one-time promotion is not repeated across every planned transfer.

The amount entered is treated as the total amount available for the transfer, including a sender-side fee. For a sender-side fee, the fee is deducted first and the remaining AED amount is converted using the displayed exchange rate. If the fee is charged in the recipient currency, it is deducted after conversion.

Available providers are ranked by the highest estimated recipient amount.

What my recipient needs

RemitNavigator calculates backwards from the selected recipient amount. A sender-side fee is added to the AED amount required for conversion. A recipient-side fee is added to the required recipient-currency amount before conversion.

Available providers are ranked by the lowest estimated total amount to spend in AED.

Ranking and limitations

Affiliate compensation never affects calculations or ranking, and a provider cannot pay for a better position. Read the Affiliate Disclosure.

• RemitNavigator does not cover every provider or transfer method.
• Logged-in, personalised, negotiated or location-specific prices may differ.
• Promotions are included only when the source identifies them and the conditions can be represented clearly.
• Provider availability, limits, rates and fees can change after data is retrieved.
• The final quote, payment method, receiving method and delivery time must be confirmed directly with the provider.
