Standards and policies

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These policies explain how RemitNavigator handles corrections, data quality and editorial decisions. They apply to provider comparisons, calculators, currency pages and educational content.

Corrections Policy

Possible errors can be reported to contact@remitnavigator.com. Include the page URL, provider or currency pair, transfer amount and, if possible, a supporting source or screenshot. Reports are checked against the relevant source and calculation. Material errors are corrected as soon as reasonably possible after verification, or an unreliable result may be removed while it is reviewed.

Data Quality Policy

RemitNavigator prefers provider-controlled public quote, rate and fee sources. Retrieved values are checked for valid currencies, rates, fees and recipient amounts. Prices are classified as standard or new customer prices when possible, and new customer prices are clearly labelled in the comparison. Incomplete or inconsistent results may be marked unavailable. RemitNavigator does not claim to cover the whole market. Source, update and cache details are documented in How We Compare.

Editorial Policy

RemitNavigator uses plain language to explain money transfer costs, methods and transfer patterns. Claims about prices, methods, limits and promotions should be supported by an identified source. Affiliate compensation never determines calculations, rankings or editorial conclusions, and commercial relationships are disclosed. Content is informational and does not provide personalised financial advice. Read the Affiliate Disclosure for more information.
