Send money from Qatar to Egypt
Public price data for transfers from Qatar is limited. We show the rates and transfer details we can verify, and also list services that reveal the full price only in their app or after sign-in.
Last reviewed: 15 September 2026
Some providers in Qatar show the rate, fee and final EGP amount only after you sign in, choose a transfer method or add a beneficiary. Because we cannot access enough comparable quotes at the same time, we cannot show a reliable live comparison yet.

Choosing a receiving method
Bank account or mobile wallet?
For Egypt, the receiving method can change which service is practical. A bank transfer suits someone who wants the money in an account, while a wallet transfer can be useful when the recipient regularly uses a wallet linked to their Egyptian mobile number.
How QIB's bank routes differ
QIB says transfers to Banque Misr accounts can be credited within minutes and are available around the clock. Transfers to other Egyptian banks use NEFT: those submitted between 07:00 and 19:00 Egypt time are normally processed the same day, while later transfers move to the next day.
Sending to an Egyptian mobile wallet
QIB lists wallets including Vodafone Cash, Orange Cash, Etisalat Cash and QNB Wallet. You send using the mobile number registered to the wallet, so check the number and the recipient's wallet status before confirming.
What to compare before sending
- The final EGP amount after the exchange rate and fee
- Whether the recipient wants a bank deposit, wallet transfer or cash pickup
- The minimum and maximum amount for that receiving method
- Whether the expected delivery time works for the recipient
