Send money from Qatar to the Philippines

Public price data for transfers from Qatar is limited. We show the rates and transfer details we can verify, and also list services that reveal the full price only in their app or after sign-in.

Live QAR to PHP comparison is not available yet

Some providers in Qatar show the rate, fee and final PHP amount only after you sign in, choose a transfer method or add a beneficiary. Because we cannot access enough comparable quotes at the same time, we cannot show a reliable live comparison yet.

What do the published rates show for 1,000 QAR?

The receiving method matters in the Philippines. A bank-deposit quote should not be treated as the price for wallet transfer or cash pickup.

Western Union is a public bank-deposit quote. QIB is a bank sell rate, not a complete transfer quote. Recheck the final PHP amount for the exact receiving method you choose.

Start with the receiving method

Ask how the recipient wants to use the money. Money sent to an account or wallet can be used digitally, while cash pickup requires a visit to an agent. Then compare the services that support that option.

Bank transfer timing changes by network

QIB says BDO and InstaPay transfers can arrive within 60 seconds. NEFT transfers are processed the same day between 07:00 and 14:00 Philippines time, with later transfers moving to the next day. Western Union gives a broader estimate of minutes to one banking day for Philippine bank deposits.

Wallet transfers have their own limits

QIB supports transfers using the mobile number linked to the recipient's wallet. It lists a 100 PHP minimum and 500,000 PHP maximum. Transfers below 50,000 PHP may arrive within minutes, while transfers at or above that amount may take until the same or next working day.

Cash pickup is useful, but check the branch

Western Union offers cash pickup across its Philippine agent network. It can suit a recipient who needs cash and does not want a bank or wallet deposit, but opening hours, identification requirements and travel to the location still matter.

What to compare before sending

  • The final PHP amount for the same payout method
  • The recipient's preferred bank, wallet or pickup location
  • Whether the amount crosses a service limit or timing threshold
  • Any cost the recipient faces when withdrawing wallet funds
