How is the top provider determined? We rank providers by the estimated amount the recipient receives after the displayed fee and exchange rate.

What could make the difference?

Compare the estimated recipient amounts above to see how much the displayed results differ.

The difference comes from the combination of the displayed exchange rate and transfer fee. A provider may charge a low or no visible fee while including part of the cost in a less favourable exchange rate. That is why a lower fee does not always mean that more money reaches your recipient.

Before sending, confirm the final amount, receiving method and delivery time directly with the provider.

Ways to receive money in Pakistan

Depending on the provider, money may be sent to a Pakistani bank account, an Easypaisa or JazzCash mobile wallet, or for cash pickup.

The most suitable option often depends on whether the recipient already uses a bank account or one of Pakistan’s branchless mobile wallet services. Fees, exchange rates, delivery times and receiving limits may differ between payout methods.

Receiving method is not currently included as a comparison filter on RemitNavigator. Confirm that the selected provider supports the option your recipient needs before completing the transfer.

Bank account transfer

A bank transfer deposits the money directly into the recipient’s Pakistani bank account.

The sender will commonly need:

  • The recipient’s full name as registered with the bank
  • IBAN or bank account number
  • Bank name
  • Any additional information requested by the provider

A bank deposit can be suitable when the recipient already uses a bank account and wants the money deposited without visiting a pickup location.

Easypaisa and JazzCash

Easypaisa and JazzCash are separate mobile wallet and branchless banking services used in Pakistan. When supported, money is deposited into the wallet connected to the recipient’s registered mobile number.

Before selecting a wallet transfer, confirm:

  • Whether the recipient uses Easypaisa or JazzCash
  • That the wallet account is active and eligible to receive the transfer
  • That the registered name and mobile number are correct
  • Whether receiving or account limits apply

An Easypaisa account cannot automatically receive a transfer addressed to JazzCash, and a JazzCash account cannot automatically receive a transfer addressed to Easypaisa.

Cash pickup

Cash pickup allows the recipient to collect physical cash from a participating location in Pakistan.

The recipient will normally need:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID, such as a CNIC, NICOP or passport
  • The transfer or pickup reference
  • A name matching the transfer details

Available locations, identification requirements and opening hours depend on the provider and pickup network. Confirm the nearest suitable location before sending.

Can an international transfer be sent through Raast?

Raast is Pakistan’s national instant payment system. It allows local transfers between participating Pakistani bank accounts and payment services using an IBAN or a registered Raast ID, which may be linked to a mobile number.

Raast is currently a domestic payment system. It is not itself a method for sending an international transfer directly from the UAE to Pakistan.

A recipient may be able to use Raast after the remittance has been credited to a connected Pakistani account, but this is separate from the original international transfer.

How long does a UAE to Pakistan money transfer take?

Delivery time depends on the provider and payout method. Some bank and wallet transfers may arrive within minutes, while others can take longer because of banking hours, account limits or additional checks.

Cash pickup also depends on when the transfer becomes available and the opening hours of the selected location. Check the delivery estimate for the specific transfer before paying.

What should you check before sending?

Before completing the transfer, confirm:

  • The final amount the recipient will receive in PKR
  • Whether the money is going to a bank account, Easypaisa, JazzCash or cash pickup
  • The recipient details required for that payout method
  • The estimated delivery time
  • Any transfer or wallet limits
  • The final exchange rate and transfer fee

You can also check the indicative AED to PKR exchange rate for currency context before comparing the rates offered by individual providers.

Rates, fees and availability can change. The provider’s final quote is the amount that applies to the transfer.

Frequently asked questions

Can I send money from the UAE to Easypaisa or JazzCash?

Some providers support transfers from the UAE to eligible Easypaisa and JazzCash accounts. Confirm which wallet the recipient uses, that the account is active and that the registered name and mobile number are correct before sending.

Is Easypaisa the same as JazzCash?

No. Easypaisa and JazzCash are separate services. The sender must select the wallet used by the recipient and enter the details registered with that account. Support for one wallet does not mean that the provider also supports the other.

Can I send money from the UAE to Pakistan through Raast?

Not directly. Raast is currently a domestic payment system for transfers within Pakistan. The international transfer must first be sent through a provider to an eligible Pakistani bank account, wallet or other supported payout method.

What details do I need for a bank transfer to Pakistan?

You will commonly need the recipient’s full name, IBAN or account number and bank name. The provider may request additional recipient or transfer information. Check the exact requirements before starting the transfer.

What does the recipient need for cash pickup in Pakistan?

The recipient will normally need valid identification and the transfer or pickup reference. Their name should match the name entered for the transfer. The selected provider may require additional information.

How are providers ranked in the comparison?

When you enter what you can spend, providers are ranked by the highest estimated recipient amount. When you enter what your recipient needs, providers are ranked by the lowest estimated total amount you may need to spend. The ranking uses the displayed exchange rate and transfer fee. Payout method and delivery time are not currently included.

Why can the PKR amount differ from the provider’s final quote?

RemitNavigator’s results are estimates based on the displayed exchange rate and fee. The provider’s final quote may change because of current rates, payout method, account limits, promotions or additional charges. Confirm the final PKR amount before paying.

Can I compare money transfers from Dubai to Pakistan?

Yes. Dubai is part of the United Arab Emirates, so the UAE to Pakistan comparison is relevant when sending from Dubai.
